Alia renews Hotelier Maldives partnership for 2025 events
This marks the second consecutive year that Alia Investments has partnered with Hotelier Maldives as an Associate Sponsor.
Hotelier Maldives, the leading B2B hospitality media group in Maldives, has announced that Alia Investments has renewed its commitment as an Associate Sponsor for two of the publication’s flagship events in 2025: the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025, presented by Bestbuy Maldives (BBM), and the Hotelier Maldives General Managers (GM) Forum 2025.
This marks the second consecutive year that Alia Investments has partnered with Hotelier Maldives as an Associate Sponsor, reflecting the company’s continued support for the Maldives’ tourism and hospitality industry.
Alia Investments holds a prominent position in the Maldivian market as the exclusive distributor of Yamaha, Total Tools and Kohler products. The Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025 are scheduled to take place in May 2025, following a successful inaugural edition in 2024 that saw over 300 nominations and 100,000 public votes. For the 2025 edition, interest has grown significantly, with over 450 nominations submitted by the February 10 deadline. Four new award categories have been introduced this year, recognising a wider range of professionals who contribute to the success of the Maldives’ tourism sector:

Judging for the 2025 Awards took place between February 20 and March 15, and public voting for the shortlisted nominees is currently ongoing until April 25, 2025. The winners will be selected based on a combined score of judges’ evaluations (60%) and public votes (40%), and will be announced at a gala ceremony in May.
Meanwhile, the GM Forum 2025, an exclusive event for resort general managers and senior hospitality leaders, will bring together key industry stakeholders for discussions on critical topics shaping the future of tourism in the Maldives.
Both the Hotelier Maldives Awards and the GM Forum have become signature events in the country’s tourism calendar, recognising talent, encouraging collaboration, and creating opportunities for strategic industry dialogue.
