The members of the committee are:

-
Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Economic Development and Trade

Heena said the relevant ministries will continue to share information with the public as the situation develops.
The committee was formed following military action in the Middle East, where Iran has carried out retaliatory strikes on United States military bases after a joint operation by the United States and Israel.
The Maldivian government has issued a statement condemning the attacks and calling for dialogue and reconciliation.
The developments have led to temporary airspace closures in parts of the Gulf region, resulting in the suspension of several flights to the Maldives. Some travellers have been unable to continue their journeys.
Officials have said the situation may have indirect effects on the Maldives, particularly in areas such as travel and connectivity.
