Ex-RACL chief Mubeen joins MTCC as deputy managing director
He resigned from that post during the process of integrating the company’s operations with Maldives Airports Company Limited.
Ahmed Mubeen has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company.
MTCC announced the appointment on Sunday and welcomed Mubeen to the company.
Mubeen previously served as Managing Director of Regional Airports Company Limited under the current administration.
He resigned from that post during the process of integrating the company’s operations with Maldives Airports Company Limited.
In a statement, MTCC said it expected the company to continue progressing under the new management arrangement.
The appointment comes amid wider leadership changes across state-owned enterprises following last month’s council elections.
Recent changes have included the replacement of some executives and the appointment of new management across several government-owned companies.
