BML removes monthly $2,000 limit on USD withdrawal

Bank of Maldives (BML) on Wednesday removed restrictions on the monthly USD cash withdrawal limit of $2,000 from ATMs and branches.
BML customers can now withdraw USD 1,600 daily through USD ATMs located at H. Marine Dream, Velana International Airport and Hulhumale Renaatus Ithaa Mui.

Customers with debit cards linked to a USD account as a primary account can continue to use cards for foreign transactions up to $3,000 daily. International Money Transfers through Internet or Mobile Banking can also be processed from USD accounts.
