STO cuts fuel prices after 6 months

Petrol prices have been reduced by MVR 0.40 per litre and diesel by MVR 0.45 per litre.

The government-owned STO, which imports the bulk of fuel into Maldives, on Friday reduced the price of petrol and diesel.

Petrol prices have been reduced by MVR 0.40 per litre and diesel by MVR 0.45 per litre. With this reduction, petrol and diesel will be sold at:

Petrol - MVR 14.33 per litre; Previously sold for MVR 14.73
Diesel - MVR 14.62 per litre; Previously sold for MVR 15.07

STOC changed the price of fuel after six months. The last time fuel prices were reduced was in June.
