Fuvahmulah airport expansion planned to accommodate jets
RAC, which operates the airport, shared its plan with the Fuvahmulah City Council on Thursday.
The runway at Fuvahmulah Airport will be developed to accommodate private jets and the apron will be expanded to allow jet parking spaces, Regional Airports Company (RAC) has said.

The discussions focused on the development masterplan for the airport.

In addition, discussions have been held to establish a tourism zone in the vacant land south of the airport, the state-owned company said.
