A team of experts from India has arrived in the Maldives to assist in the investigation of the recent fire at the housing ministry.
The fire, which occurred on the 12th of this month, prompted an inquiry led by the police.
Police Commissioner Ali Shujau informed the media on Friday about the involvement of the Indian experts in the investigation.
Authorities have requested the public to provide any information related to the incident. Tips can be shared by contacting the Major Crime Investigation unit.
Following the fire, the operations of three affected ministries were relocated to the Dharubaaruge building. The new location was equipped and began offering services last Sunday.
The investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing, with updates expected as the inquiry progresses.
