A man has been arrested in connection with the damage caused to the main door of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) headquarters on Chaandhanee Magu.

According to Maldives Police Service, the report regarding the incident was received around 1:30am on Saturday.

The individual arrested in relation to the case has been identified as Mohamed Razeen, 49, of M. Star.

Police have confirmed that the matter is under investigation.
