4 media members appointed to new commission
The new commission includes four members representing the media, two representing broadcasters, and two representing other media outlets.

The Media and Broadcasting Commission of the Maldives has appointed members representing the media to the new Media and Broadcasting Commission.
Applications for membership in the commission received the exact number of candidates required. As a result, four members representing the media were elected without a vote.
According to the details, the new commission includes four members representing the media, two representing broadcasters, and two representing other media outlets.
The following members have been appointed representing the broadcasters:

Abdul Azeez Ibrahim, Sh. Feydhoo / Moonimaage

Zam’ath Ahmed Waheed, Mala / Gdh. Thinadhoo
Representing other media are:

Simaha Naseem, Valleyge / Gdh. Rathafandhoo

Hussain Sageef, Hisaan / Hdh. Vaikaradhoo
The commission consists of a total of seven members. The remaining three members will be appointed by Parliament. The names of the candidates for these positions were sent to the Independent Institutions Committee of Parliament today.
