Police said the incident occurred during a match played on Friday evening after a clash between children. A police officer with a family connection to one of the children later filed a complaint alleging that he had threatened another child with physical harm.
According to police, the case is being investigated in two parts:

A criminal inquiry into alleged assault and intimidation

An administrative inquiry conducted by the Professional Standards Command, as the case involves a police officer
Police said further details will not be released as the case concerns children.
