The People’s National Front (PNF) has announced that it will hold a special meeting on Wednesday night to discuss what it described as key political matters.
The meeting will be held at Artificial Beach and is titled “Reset”. While the party has not disclosed details of the agenda, it said that significant political decisions will be announced during the event.
PNF President and former President Abdulla Yameen is expected to attend the meeting.
The PNF currently operates as an opposition party. Its regular meetings are usually held at Yameen’s residence in Malé, which also serves as the party’s office.
The PNF was formed following a split from the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM). The party last held a public rally in August last year.
