Fire damages house and property in Huraa

A fire broke out in a house in K. Huraa, damaging the building and property.
Police said the incident was reported at 1:18 am Monday morning. The fire was brought under control through the efforts of members of the public and police officers.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said the fire occurred in a residential house in Huraa. The agency is working with the council to provide assistance to 15 people who lived in the house.
Police confirmed that no injuries were reported. A woman affected by the incident received treatment at the Huraa Health Centre and was later taken to Malé for further care, according to hospital officials.
Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the fire.
