45-year-old man found dead in Malé guesthouse

A 45-year-old man was found dead at a guesthouse in the Maafannu district of Malé on Thursday, police have said.

Police said they received a report of a deceased person at the guesthouse at around 5:51 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Ibrahim Naeem, 45, of Oceanic Villa, HA. Molhadhoo.

Police have not disclosed the circumstances surrounding his death or provided further information about the incident.

No information has yet been released on whether an investigation has been launched or whether any other individuals were involved.
