Fenaka Corporation has been entrusted with setting up ice plants in five islands.
Director Ahmed Yameen signed the work agreement on behalf of the fisheries ministry at a ceremony held at the ministry on Sunday. Managing Director Ahmed Saeed signed on behalf of Fenaka.
The five islands where the ice plants will be set up under the agreement include:

L. Maamendhoo
According to the fisheries ministry, ice plants with a capacity of producing 25 metric tonnes of ice and storing 50 metric tonnes of ice will be set up in the five islands.
These ice plants are funded by Saudi Arabia.
Fenaka was assigned the work to complete within eight months.
