Rozaina hails Solih govt as most receptive to women's concerns
There are six female ministers in the president's cabinet.
The voice of women was heard the most during the five-year term of incumbent President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, MP Rozaina Adam said on Saturday.
Rozaina, who is also the president of the MDP women's wing, made the remarks while speaking at a workshop held at Dharumavantha School on Saturday to formulate the branch's manifesto.
Rozaina said the government has given the highest priority to listening to women's voices during the past five years. To emphasise that, she mentioned that 30% of the president's cabinet has been reserved for women.
“These five years have been more focused on listening to women’s voices than ever before,” she said.
