Accountants' forum begins with 250 participants
Since 2017, the MAF has aimed to train and promote the field of accounting via their annual event.

Maldives Accountants Forum (MAF) 2022 began on Saturday with 250 participants.
This forum is the national platform for all the professional auditors and accountants to discuss and deliberate on matters of mutual interest with the industry stakeholders and regulator
Organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives), the forum will continue at Dharubaaruge till Sunday afternoon.
The opening ceremony of the MAF was held in a very colourful manner with a Boduberu performance. Later, to mark the beginning of the forum, the chief guest of the forum, tourism minister Abdulla Mausoom was handed a special certificate of recognition.

ECG Reporting Awards were inaugurated
In the ceremony, CA Maldives was appointed as a member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). Although the Maldives became a member of SAFA in 2021, the letter was officially handed over to CA Maldives on Saturday.
Being a member of SAFA, members of CA Maldives will be allowed to participate in the training courses and activities conducted by the federation.
