2 deputy ministers resign after 8-month suspension

Deputy youth ministers Mariyam Shiuna and Malsha Shareef have resigned from their posts after spending eight months in suspension.
Shiuna and Malsha were suspended on January 7 for posting insults against India. Shiuna and Malsha, as well as Abdulla Mahzoom Majid, were also suspended in the case.
Shiuna and Malsha also confirmed their resignation to Atoll Times.
When asked why they resigned, they said she could not stay in office for personal reasons.
