On September 20, Dhiffushi Island became a focal point for environmental action as over 150 volunteers participated in a successful cleanup initiative organised by Let’s do it Maldives. This event, part of the global World Cleanup Day movement, united a diverse collective of volunteers including residents, tourists, and children in a shared mission to enhance the island’s environment.

Supported by Lifebuoy, the world’s leading hygiene soap brand, and Bestbuy Maldives (BBM), both played integral roles in ensuring the event's success.

Ibrahim Sunil, Council President of the Dhiffushi Council, expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are truly proud of the Dhiffushi community and all the volunteers, young and old, who dedicated their time and effort to this important cause. It’s a reminder of what we can achieve when we come together, and I encourage more initiatives like this in the future."

Muksith, Head of Sales - Retail of BBM, echoed these sentiments, thanking participants and reaffirming the company’s commitment to environmental efforts.
