Cabinet held a working session to review the government’s top-priority infrastructure projects on Tuesday.
The session took place at the President's Office.
The working session comprised of cabinet ministers and managing directors of State Trading Organisation (STO), Waste Management Corporation Limited, Fenaka Corporation Limited, Road Development Corporation Limited (RDC), Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC), and Malé Water and Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd. (MWSC).
During the session, the ministers and State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) MDs briefed the president on their assigned projects and shared updates on their progress.
President Mohamed Muizzu urged everyone to complete projects within the specified timelines and emphasised the importance of meeting these deadlines.
He addressed the concerns raised by ministers and SOE MDs, discussing strategies to ensure the smooth implementation of projects.
The president also encouraged his administration to provide project updates to the public and ensure completion of said projects in a timely and transparent manner.
