Blue Lagoon residential construction gains momentum as marina-facing Pearl Tower opens

Marking another key milestone for the project, Blue Lagoon Luxury Residences has announced that their second residential tower is officially open for booking as of this week. Construction commenced in December as per the timeline promised by the developers VCIL, with on-site progress now underway across both residential and commercial components.

The much-anticipated Pearl Tower opens its first 10 floors to exceptional demand, thanks to its prime location adjacent to the Phase Two bridge, offering direct views of the Marina. Adding to the new inventory, additional units on the 13th, 14th, and 15th floors of Coral Tower are also now available for booking. The project has already seen an appreciation of about 15% from the initial opening prices. As an incentive for earlier buyers, this newly published inventory will only be available at these prices for the next 50 units, after which the prices are expected to rise.

The Blue Lagoon project comprises two residential towers, Pearl and Coral, totalling 250 premium apartments, alongside the Blue Lagoon Commercial Arcade, the Maldives’ first open-concept mall. Launched in August last year at special Earlybird prices for select Coral Tower floors, the project offered first buyers an exclusive opportunity to secure premium homes at early-phase rates.

The project’s amenities are thoughtfully split across two areas: the Clubhouse and the largest terrace garden in the Maldives. In total, Blue Lagoon features over 35,000 square feet of amenity space, of which 30,000 square feet is dedicated to open spaces, offering Maldivians a much-needed escape from the cramped hustle and bustle of city life. The Grand Clubhouse spans 16,500 square feet and comes with multiple amenities, including a gym, multipurpose hall, theatre, children’s play area, daycare, and meeting room facilities designed to support family-focused living. Apartments at Blue Lagoon are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a strong focus on natural light and cross-ventilation. Even the smallest 2 BHK units start from 1,035 square feet, making them among the largest in the Maldives. The 2 BHK Luxury units span 1,280 square feet and feature marvellous designs that are ideal for modern luxury living. The 2+1 BHK and 3 BHK units are fully cross-ventilated, offering both sunrise and sunset views. The 2+1 BHK apartments measure 1,340 square feet, while 3-bedroom units start from 1,795 square feet and feature massive deck balconies of approximately 450 square feet.
