Ooredoo posts MVR 2 billion revenue, MVR 685 million profit last year

Telecommunications giant Ooredoo Maldives posted a net profit of MVR 685 million last year, according to the company's financial statements.
The company posted a total revenue of MVR 2 billion last year, according to its financial statements released on Wednesday.
The company generated revenue of MVR 1.6 billion from mobile services last year. Fixed broadband services generated revenue of MVR 475,802.
Ooredoo is proposing a dividend of MVR 3.27 per share.
Ooredoo's Annual General Meeting will be held on the 7th of next month at Central Park in Hulhumale.
The company said 200 shareholders will have the opportunity to attend the annual general meeting.
