Search has been intensified for a man who went missing from a landing craft that capsized while travelling off the coast of GDh. Vaadhon Saturday, MNDF said Sunday.
A landing craft called 'Leo Success', which was travelling about 14 nautical miles from Faresmathoda, capsized due to battery failure. A boat travelling in the area rescued three out of the four crewmen, while one was reported missing.
MNDF and police are jointly searching for the expatriate worker.
MNDF said that efforts will be made on Sunday to trace him by sea and air.
Authorities are yet to identify the missing man.
