A violent altercation between two foreign workers at Café Thaseeru-1 on Maaveyo Magu, Male on Tuesday has left one man in critical condition, police has reported.
According to the police, the fight occurred between a Nepalese cook and a Bangladeshi assistant.
A widely circulated video on social media shows the aftermath of the incident, capturing a Bangladeshi man covered in blood, with visible injuries to his hands and bloodstains on the floor.
Both men sustained injuries and were rushed to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment. Hospital officials confirmed that the Bangladeshi man’s condition is critical.
