Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) has announced that criminal and debt record clearance services will be available online starting May 15.

According to an official statement released Thursday, the new service will be provided through the public portal developed by the Digital Government Authority (DGA), using the eFaas platform.

With the launch of this system, individuals seeking to clear their criminal or debt records must submit their applications online. The DJA noted that the traditional form-based method will be discontinued from June. Applications through the current manual forms will no longer be accepted beyond that point.

However, the DJA clarified that record clearance requests submitted by government offices or companies will still be accepted, provided they are accompanied by an official letter from the respective entity.
