Police officers probed over money deposits

The Maldives Police Service has confirmed that a significant amount of money was deposited into the accounts of certain officers stationed at the Shaviyani Atoll Milandhoo Police Station.

According to the Police, the Professional Standards Command is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.

The officers concerned have been brought to Malé as part of the inquiry process.
