The Ministry of Finance has announced details of the civil service salary increases that take effect on Saturday.
The ministry said salary changes have been implemented across eight sectors of the civil service. These sectors are:

Business and Administrative Service
-
Education
-
Healthcare
-
Information and Communications
-
Legal, Cultural and Social Service
-
Science and Built Environment Service
-
Secretarial, Skilled and Elementary Service
Revised salary structures for all positions within these sectors have been published.
In September, President Mohamed Muizzu announced that the salaries of civil service, judiciary, and council employees would be harmonised starting from 1 November.
The Finance Ministry confirmed that under the revised framework, the basic salary of all civil servants will not fall below the national minimum wage.
