Ahmed Shakeeb appointed PSM Managing Director
Shakeeb has long experience in both the education and media sectors and previously served at PSM for an extended period.
Ahmed Shakeeb has been appointed Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM), filling the post left vacant following the resignation of Ibrahim Nasreen on 29 November.
Nasreen resigned after being appointed Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs.
The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) confirmed Shakeeb’s appointment on Wednesday.
Shakeeb has long experience in both the education and media sectors and previously served at PSM for an extended period. He worked for 20 years at the former Education Development Centre (EDC), later known as the National Institute of Education (NIE). Shakeeb is also widely known to the public as a television presenter.
