One person has been killed in a road accident that took place Friday afternoon at the junction leading to the airport island of Hulhule and the satellite town of Hulhumale via the Sinamale Bridge.
Police received reports at 2.30pm about a car colliding with a motorcycle in the area. A 52-year-old local man was killed in the incident, police said.
