Speedboat destroyed in fire at Hanimaadhoo harbour

A speedboat was destroyed in a fire at HDh. Hanimaadhoo Harbour early on Wednesday, while its captain was transferred to Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital for further treatment.
The Maldives Police Service said the incident was reported at around 12:20 am.
According to police, the captain and a crew member sustained injuries in the fire.
The crew member was treated at Hanimaadhoo Health Centre and later discharged.

Police said the speedboat was destroyed in the fire and is no longer usable.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
