Transport ministry moves to Hulhumale
The 'Umar Zahir Office Building', built at a total cost of MVR 185 million, has six floors.

The transport ministry has shifted its services to the newly constructed government office building, 'Umar Zahir Office Building', in Hulhumale.
The building, which opened in Hulhumale Phase I on Wednesday, now accommodates the transport ministry, gender ministry and higher education ministry. On Wednesday, the gender ministry's services were shifted to the site.
According to a notification issued by the transport ministry on Saturday, its services will be available from the new building in Hulhumale from Sunday onwards.

Services are provided on the third floor of the building

Services provided by the ministry's counters will be provided by counters located on the ground floor
The 'Umar Zahir Office Building', built at a total cost of MVR 185 million, has six floors. Each floor has 25,000 square feet.
