Expired driving licence validity extended till March end
The ministry did not give any reason for the extension.

Transport ministry said on Wednesday that expired driving licences will still be valid till the end of this month.
The issuance of licences was initially put on hold for a week in late January to complete the process of issuing digital licences.
At that time, the transport ministry had said that the public can use expired licenses till February 14. The deadline was later extended till the end of February.
The deadline for driving on expired licences has been extended for the third time, the ministry said in a notification that the deadline for the use of expired licences has been extended till March 31.
The ministry did not give any reason for the extension.
The transport ministry said in a January announcement that the issuance of licences has been put on hold to complete the information migration work that needs to be done with a software upgrade.
