President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Friday met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Regarding the meeting held at the German President's Office, the Maldivian President's Office said that President Solih praised Germany's role in the EU. In particular, he acknowledged Germany's role in the negotiations to reduce tariffs on foreign remittances to Europe.
