Police investigate case linked to RDC

Police are investigating a case involving the Road Development Corporation (RDC).
RDC Managing Director Moosa Ali-Manik and Chief Financial Officer Yasir Hassan are being investigated by the police.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that they were investigating a case linked to RDC when asked by journalists in the police media WhatsApp group. However, no details were given.
Dhiyares newspaper reported on Tuesday that police are investigating a case in which MVR 13.8 million was allegedly transferred from the RDC's account to Yasir's personal account. The details of how the money was used after it was transferred to his account are unknown, the report said.
