President opens Minivan Ufaa Carnival
Admission is free and the carnival will feature a number of activities for the public.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed on Saturday opened the Minivan Ufaa Carnival at Central Park in Hulhumale, in celebration of the nation’s 58th Independence Day.
The Independence Day Carnival, organised by the home ministry and Urbanco, opened at Central Park in Hulhumale.
The carnival will continue until Thursday. A fireworks display was held in the area at 9:30pm. The fireworks continued, for about eight minutes.
Admission is free, and the carnival will feature a number of activities for the public. They include:

Laser tag
There is also a special zone to spend time with family and friends in a cozy atmosphere inside the carnival. A special draw will be held among the carnival visitors. The winner of the draw will receive seven nights, accommodation and transport to Bali, Indonesia with Ooredoo's best wishes.
