A boat traveling near GDh. Nadella has run aground with 10 people.
Police said that the incident was reported to the police at 6.21pm Friday evening.
A police spokesperson told reporters on Saturday that:

There were 10 Pakistanis on board

They are in good health

The people on board were taken to Nadella
"Police and MNDF are operating in the area where the boat ran aground," said the police.
Neither MNDF nor the police disclosed any further details.
Vessels have caused extensive damages to Maldivian reefs in the past. Environment Protection Agency (EPA) fined the owners of the vessels after surveying some of the reefs. This includes the maximum fine of MVR 100 million allowed under Maldivian environmental law.
