The Maldives Customs Service has seized more than three kilograms of party drugs from two sealed parcels that arrived by courier.
Customs seized the items on March 20 from two packages searched by the cargo unit at Velana International Airport.

The service said 3.1 kg of drugs were recovered from one package and 210 grams from the other.
Initial tests showed positive results for synthetic Cathinone.
Customs has handed over the drugs to police for further investigation.
