Maldives records 600,000 tourist arrivals in 1st quarter
The government aims to attract two million tourists this year.

600,000 tourists have visited Maldives in the first three months of this year, the Ministry of Tourism said.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, 604,004 tourists arrived in Maldives as of March.
This is 15.3% more than the same period 2023.
Tourism Minister Ibrahim Faisal said on Tuesday that this was a success and he thanked the tourism workers who worked hard to achieve this success.
According to the Tourism Ministry, 194,227 tourists arrived in Maldives in March last year, which was an increase of 11.9% compared to the previous year 2022.
On average, 6,265 tourists arrive daily.
