President Mohammed Muizzu and First Lady will exchange Eid Greetings at Muliaage on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr this year, as is tradition in the island nation.
The calendar shows that this year's Eid will be Wednesday. The President's Office on Saturday announced the details of the Eid greeting ceremony hosted by the President.
President Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohammed will greet the public from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Eid al-Fitr.

The greeting will be done at the President's official residence, Muliaage

The wishers are scheduled to enter the Muliaage through the main gate on Medhuziyaarai road
"The President and First Lady invite as many children and youths as possible to join their families in the Eid greetings," the President's Office said.
The President and his wife also invited various state and foreign dignitaries, representatives of companies and various private associations, apart from the public, to participate in the Eid greeting.
