Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer will make an official visit to Sri Lanka to strengthen relations between the two countries.
Minister Zameer will visit Sri Lanka on June 3-6 at the invitation of Foreign Minister Ali Sabry.
During the visit, Minister Zameer will meet with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Foreign Minister Foreign Minister Sabry.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the meeting with the Sri Lankan counterpart will discuss strengthening relations between the two countries.
They will also discuss the provision of facilities and services to Maldivians living in Sri Lanka.
Minister Zameer will be accompanied by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Sheryna Abdul Samad and Secretary Shiruzimath Sameer among others.
