NSPA assures Aasandha services abroad despite India's Manipal hospital suspension
There are 49 hospitals in India that provide Aasandha.

Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru, India, which serves a large number of Maldivians, has stopped providing Aasandha, but no other hospital abroad will stop providing Aasandha services, the National Social Protection Agency has reassured.
Aasandha suspended the health subsidy at Manipal Hospital in India from Monday due to high cost of services.
Aasandha Media Coordinator Ashiya Solih told Atoll Times on Thursday that the service was cut only for new patients at Manipal Hospital. In addition, Aasandha said:

There are 49 hospitals in India that provide Aasandha.
Ashiya said there is no intention of stopping Aasandha from any other foreign hospital.
The government is trying to reduce the cost of Aasandha and change the way Aasandha is provided.
