The national carrier, Maldivian, has decided to increase its flights to Trivandrum, India.
The airline on Tuesday announced that it will operate the Male-Trivandrum-Male flight every Monday from the 22nd of this month.
Maldivian currently operates four flights a week between Male and Trivandrum. With the new flight, the airline will operate five flights a week.
Trivandrum is a popular destination for medical treatment and other purposes among Maldivians. With the increase in flights to the destination, it will be more convenient for the people travelling to Trivandrum for various purposes.
Maldivian also operates flights to Bangalore and Cochin, India. Colombo, Sri Lanka is also an international destination for the airline.
