A man has been arrested for fraudulently trading dollars, police said on Friday.

It is not yet clear how this was done. According to the arrest warrant, the victim was a woman.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the case, which was reported to police on Wednesday.

"The arrested man was produced before the court for a decision on his remand and was ordered to be remanded in custody for 10 days," the police said in a statement.

The man, who has been arrested in various cases in the past, has denied the charges.

"The woman was spoken to by the man who accompanied him and he did what he did. He had no interaction and knew nothing about this," the arrested man told the court, his warrant reads.
