The Media Council (MMC) has ordered the website Dhenme to be blocked for spreading immoral articles.
MMC said it took the initiative to investigate the website, which spreads articles that violate common social standards. After investigating the matter, the relevant authorities have been asked to block the website, it said.
The Media Council said it has been receiving complaints about the website for writing articles that are immoral and against social standards.
The investigating MMC committee found that Dhenme:

It was noted that the website was not registered

The council also asked the public to share information about the owner of the website
The MMC said on Thursday that after a brief hiatus, the website is again circulating similar articles on social media.
Therefore, the council said it had again decided to investigate the matter and take action.
