STELCO is making preparations to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Ramadan, Managing Director Hussein Fahmy has said.
In an interview with state media PSM, Fahmy stated that the company is working to install additional generators to increase electricity capacity.
STELCO is installing 17 MW generating engines in Hulhumale to meet the anticipated demand during Ramadan, he said. He also noted that capacity has been increased in the four provinces where STELCO provides electricity services.
“Customers we serve will not experience power cuts due to capacity shortages or engine-related issues,” Fahmy said.
