
2 new members appointed to Pension Office board
The Pension Office announced the appointment of Ahmed Saruvash Adam and Abdul Majeed Ali to the board, effective Monday.
Two individuals have been appointed as board members of the Pension Office, representing private businesses.
The Pension Office announced the appointment of Ahmed Saruvash Adam and Abdul Majeed Ali to the board, effective Monday.
Ahmed Saruvash Adam previously served as Chief Financial Budget Executive at the Ministry of Finance. He studied economics, policy, and accounting at the University of Nottingham in the UK and Monash University in Australia.
Abdul Majeed Ali is a partner at Optimo LLP, a private audit firm, and has been a member of the Pension Board. He has also worked for Bank of Maldives and Bank of Ceylon. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Banking from Cardiff University, Wales.
The Pension Office Board consists of eight members, with a term of three years from the date of assumption of office. The other members of the board are:
