
Maldivian resumes A320 operations after maintenance
The airline has announced plans to commence flights to South Africa soon and expand to Europe later this year with the addition of another A330 aircraft.

Maldivian has resumed operations of its A320 aircraft following an extended maintenance period overseas.
The aircraft had exceeded its flight hours and was undergoing servicing in Malaysia. After repairs, it arrived in the Maldives on Thursday.
Previously, Maldivian operated the A320 on routes to India and Sri Lanka, some of which were suspended for maintenance. The airline has now resumed flights to Addu using the A320, with a flight conducted Saturday.
Starting from the 10th of next month, Maldivian will operate flights to Addu every Thursday and Saturday. The airline has previously flown to Addu on the A320 during periods of high demand.
Maldivian currently operates an A330 in its fleet, serving several destinations in China. The airline has also announced plans to commence flights to South Africa soon and expand to Europe later this year with the addition of another A330 aircraft.
