MACL advises early arrival at airport ahead of Eid holidays

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has advised passengers to arrive early at Velana International Airport (VIA) during the upcoming Eid holidays due to anticipated high passenger traffic.
In a post published on X Wednesday, MACL stated that ongoing road construction and increased airport activity could cause delays and congestion. The company urged travellers to reach the airport in time to complete the check-in process within the timeframe specified by their airline.
The Eid holidays begin Thursday, and a significant number of travellers are expected to fly both domestically and internationally.
MACL also stated that its staff would be present at the airport to assist passengers as required.
