Maldives’ exports in July increased by 222 per cent compared to the same month last year, according to customs data.
The Maldives Customs Service reported that the country exported goods worth MVR 65 million in July last year. In July this year, the value of exports rose to MVR 210 million.
From January to July, exports increased by 52 per cent compared with the same period in 2023. Figures show:

Fish and fish products remain the Maldives’ primary exports. Customs data shows that frozen and chilled seafood products accounted for the largest share of exports during the first seven months of the year.
