STO gets new fuel shipment to meet demand for 17 days
The official said additional shipments are scheduled to arrive in line with supply plans.

A fuel shipment ordered by the State Trading Organisation (STO) has arrived in the Maldives and is expected to meet national demand for the next 17 days.
An STO official said the shipment arrived approximately two days ago and includes supplies of both diesel and petrol.

The official said additional shipments are scheduled to arrive in line with supply plans.
Global oil prices have risen above $100 per barrel following developments in the Middle East.
The situation has also affected maritime transport and cargo movement in parts of the region.
