Dr Mohamed Faisal has resigned as Secretary General of the National Pay Commission.
He had served in the role since 2018. The reason for his resignation has not been disclosed.

Dr Faisal joined the Commission in 2016 as a member. Prior to that, he served as Secretary General of the Civil Service Commission and held positions at the President’s Office.
His resignation comes at a time when recent changes to the state salary framework are under public discussion.
The Pay Commission has stated that work is ongoing to address issues identified in the new pay structure.
